A children-focused exploration space combining role-play, climbing, themed environments and custom interactive exhibit categories. The recorded story
Case 02A children-focused exploration space combining role-play, climbing, themed environments and custom interactive exhibit categories.
The recorded Kidzplorer reference brings role-play, active movement, themed environments and custom interactive exhibits into one child-focused experience. The project is shown as a connected design-and-make scope rather than a list of isolated objects.
The case follows how an experience idea can become a spatial and physical system: first clarifying what children are invited to do, then aligning environments and exhibit categories, and finally resolving those ideas through development and manufacturing.
The project shows the visible relationship between participation, environment and delivery across one connected experience.
Case chapter
Learning through active participation
The recorded project reference combines role-play, climbing, themed environments and custom interactive exhibit categories. Participation is the organising principle: children understand the environment by doing, choosing and moving through it.

Role-play and active learning share one visitor journey.
Case chapter
Build a legible world
A themed environment needs more than decoration. Scale, orientation, prompts and transitions help children understand where they can go, what they can try and how one activity relates to the next.

Spatial cues turn a collection of activities into a coherent world.
Case chapter
Connect movement and imagination
Climbing and role-play ask different things of a space, yet both rely on clear challenges, safe circulation and moments that reward curiosity. The experience design holds these behaviours together without forcing every child into the same sequence.
Case chapter
Develop custom exhibit categories
The recorded scope links experience design with exhibit development. That connection allows an idea to be tested against interaction, materials, maintenance and repeated public use before it reaches final production.

Development connects the desired behaviour to a buildable response.

From experience idea to physical system
Manufacturing completes the delivery chain, carrying the participation goal from experience design into the finished physical system.

The final physical system carries the original participation goal.
